SAM Magazine—Dover, Vt., March 9, 2017—Season-pass launch season has begun, and many 2017-18 products are currently available at their introductory prices. There are also some updates cascadia esizeand additions to the mix.

The Cascadia Pass
In the latest season pass add-on alliance to form, Washington's Crystal Mountain, Stevens Pass, and The Summit at Snoqualmie will offer the Cascadia Pass, giving qualified season passholders at each mountain three unrestricted days at the other two partner resorts during the 2017-18 season for $199. All three resorts are within a two-hour drive of Seattle.

To add the Cascadia Pass, guests must first purchase an unrestricted season pass product from one of the three participating resorts by May 31. The $199 is in addition to the purchase price of the respective qualifying season pass product.

Crystal Mountain and The Summit at Snoqualmie are operated by Boyne Resorts; Stevens Pass Mountain Resort LLC operates Stevens Pass.

Mountain Collective Adds Sugarbush and Snowbasin
With Vail Resorts picking up two former Mountain Collective partner resorts—Whistler Blackcomb and Stowe—the multi-property Collective has replaced them with Sugarbush, Vt., and Snowbasin, Utah, as full partners starting in 2017-18.

In addition, neighboring Alta and Snowbird in Utah, and Sunshine Village and Lake Louise in the Banff National Park area, will be considered four separate destinations rather than two paired destinations, providing passholders with two days at each.

The Mountain Collective Pass is available now in limited quantities for $399.

Epic Pass Adds Whistler Blackcomb and Stowe
Two Mountain Collective alumni will be added to Vail Resorts' Epic Pass. Starting in 2017-18, the Epic Pass will include Whistler Blackcomb, and pending acquisition closing, Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont. The price for an adult Epic Pass is $859, up from $809 this season.
