A Utah native, Santora graduated from the University of Utah, where he earned his MBA from the David Eccles School of Business. Before joining the snowsports industry, Santora held a variety of roles, including sergeant with the Utah State Parks Law Enforcement Rangers, park manager of Rockport State Park, and emergency vehicle operations and scenarios instructor for Utah POST (Peace Officer Standards Training). 

Santora joined Vail Resorts in 2018 as the resort operations manager at Park City, Utah. He climbed the ranks to senior manager of building maintenance and village operations before taking the GM role at Hidden Valley in 2022. As GM of Hidden Valley, Santora increased the ski area’s number of operating days and helped it earn the highest guest experience scores of Vail Resorts’ Midwest properties. 

“I am eager to bring my passion [for the mountains] and my experience in the industry to this new adventure in the Poconos,” said Santora. “I look forward to meeting the incredible crew and getting to know our guests.”
