SAM Magazine—Brighton, Mich., Dec. 30, 2024—Vail Resorts has promoted Megan Greenlee from senior manager of food and beverage at Afton Alps, Minn., to general manager of Mt. Brighton  She succeeds Mike Giorgio, who took over as general manager of Stowe Mountain Resort, Vt., in November. 

Greenlee began her ski industry career at Afton Alps in rentals and advanced through roles in group sales, events, and product sales and services before leading the food and beverage department. She is originally from Rockford, Ill.

"Megan’s extensive experience and passion for the guest and employee experience make her an outstanding choice to lead Mt. Brighton," said Vail Resorts senior director of the Midwest region Chuck Randles. "Her leadership at Afton Alps has significantly contributed to elevating resort operations, and I am confident she will bring that same drive and vision to her new role."
