Check back often as we update the 2025 agenda.

EVENTS THAT WORK

What makes an event a success? And how do you get there? Join this interactive discussion on all things events, from the grass roots to the big-time budgets, and map out what success means for your resort.

TRANSITION THESE FEATURES INTO YOUR PARK

Grab your outdoor gear and head outside Ullman Hall to our transition demo park. This hands-on session will rotate campers through different stations as they learn some tips and tricks to building and maintaining some of the more popular transition features found in parks and events including boobs, volcanoes, hips, and more.

STATE OF THE TERRAIN PARK UNION ADDRESS

Terrain parks are constantly evolving to adapt to new influences and getting more focused around creating engaging guest experiences. In this workshop, experts will dive into the current state of terrain parks, how major events have influenced every-day resort parks, European influences around nonlinear fun parks, statistics about what guests want, what’s missing, and what the future looks like for terrain park ops.

FREESTYLE TERRAIN NOTEBOOK UPDATES & JUMP MEASUREMENT

This session will review the latest updates of the Freestyle Terrain Notebook and then experts will lead you through jump and hip measurement, discussing the how and why and the best tools for the job.

PRE- AND POST- SEASON CHECKLISTS

Do you make checklists for pre- and post-season planning and maintenance of your parks? This workshop will take campers though in-depth pre-season and post-season planning and we'll work together to develop strategic checklists to take with you to help run a safe and successful park program.

DESIGNING FOR PROGRESSION

What does it take to build for terrain park newbies? Skiers and riders new to the park approach features differently. Chris Hargrave will walk campers through tips for building, communication to new park riders, and tricks to keep the traffic flowing into your park.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

Back by popular demand, the intensive one-on-one on-hill coaching gives each camper a concentrated block of cat-time, building in the park on-hill with a top park builder. Campers have the opportunity to ask all their burning questions, get veteran tips and advice, and hone their operating skills. Whether you have one year or eightyears of experience as an operator, you choose what you and your coach focus on. You are in the driver's seat!

RISK MANAGEMENT

The in's and out's of terrain park risk management will be examined with experts from leading insurance companies and ASDA attorneys. Topics will include the main areas that impact terrain park litigation, including: education, warning, design, construction, maintenance, and supervision.

Insights from Cutter's Camp Attendees and Speakers

“It gave me and so many others a platform to share ideas and grow into leaders of our industry. It provided a place for us to make friendships and professional relationships that will last our entire lives and careers. Simply put, Cutter’s has provided all of us terrain park nerds with a family to share our passion and inspire each other to do great things.”

CHRIS HARGRAVE, COACH / CONSULTANT

“The primary goal at the start was to try and level the knowledge base across the country and expose attendees to what other areas were doing, both good and bad, with the intent to improve our level of expertise. To say that the goal was met is an understatement. From that first year, when we pulled folks out of the crowd who had paid their own way to be panelists, this event has become an industry standard that continues to set the bar for freestyle terrain grooming, equipment, ideas, and the development of industry leaders.”

STEVE KRUSE, (FORMERLY) TIMBERLINE LODGE, OR

“I have been privileged to be a presenter at just about all of the Cutter’s Camps over the last 20 years. The quality of the program, events, and activities has been impressive.”

BRAD STANFORD, FARLEIGH WADA WITT

“As a group, we all collaborated on the growth and acceptance of the only new ‘department’ to resorts since probably when grooming was invented. The list of accomplishments of the team that started Cutter’s is amazing, and I am humbled to be a part of it.”

JAY RYDD, DIAMOND PEAK, NV

“ Cutter’s Camp … A unique place where even a 50-something-year-old, washed-up  park dude can feel relevant.”
