Will Treves Named Aspenware CEO

SAM Magazine—Denver, July 29, 2024—Longtime tech industry executive Will Treves has been appointed as the new CEO of Aspenware, effective today. Aspenware

Treves brings 20 years of experience to the role at Aspenware, an e-commerce and digital guest-experience solutions provider for the ski industry that’s co-owned by Alterra Mountain Company and Aspen Skiing Company. 

Most recently, Treves spent three years as the COO of Rodo, an online car-buying marketplace. Prior to that, he had a decade-long stint at IAC, where he was CEO of Ask Applications, one of the world's largest publishers of downloadable software and desktop applications. He’s also held strategic roles in the video game industry with PlayStation and Atari. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
 
“Adding such an experienced technology professional to the company’s deeply talented team will enable it to continue to innovate and grow for years to come,” said Alterra CEO Jared Smith. 
  
Originally from London, Treves began skiing in the Swiss, French, and Austrian Alps at a young age. He has lived in the United States for many years and now resides just outside New York City.
 
“I am excited to join Aspenware and lead this talented team,” said Treves. “Together, we will build on the strong foundation and drive the next phase of growth and innovation for our loyal ski and snowboard customers around the world.”  
 
Rob Clark, who served as Aspenware CEO from 2020 to 2023, will remain as Aspenware chief revenue officer.
