FOG BE GONE Founded in 2011, Abominable Labs/Abom Inc. doesn’t bother with anti-fog coating—instead, its patented technology uses a microcomputer that heats a very thin film built into the lens. The current of warmth keeps the lens at a constant temperature, which prevents fogging. The mechanism is activated by a switch near the temple, is completely silent, and is said to eliminate fog instantly. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery and plugs into a mini USB charger.

SUSTAINABLE COMFORT

Made with 100 percent U.S. materials, manufacturing and workers, Farm to Feet socks offer quality materials and as minimal an impact on the environment. Looped toe closure, comfort compression fit, and proprietary high-tech knitting capability allows the socks to be designed with unique layered yarns for durability, anatomically placed cushioning, and venting.

CUT THE CORD

Be Headwear’s bluetooth beanies were among the first to offer this breakthrough technology. Designed with bluetooth in mind, styles include traditional and forward thinking fabrics and patterns with technical winter options. The entire line of hats, headbands and face masks features wireless headphones (one on each side), a microphone for making calls, wireless track and volume controls, and compatibility with any bluetooth device.

SUNSKI INNOVATION

Sunski founders Tom Stewart and Michael Charley believe the “eyewear status quo was and remains a choice between cheap rack shades and outrageously expensive designer frames. We thought that there was an opportunity to land somewhere in the middle.” And so they did. Their midpriced yet extremely fashionable styles feature polarized hard-coat lenses, flexible, durable, and lightweight polycarbonate frames, and stainless steel hinges.
