New Season's Passes Released

The Intrawest pass, which has no blackout dates, and is good for six days at each of the Intrawest resorts (including Steamboat and Winter Park, Colo., Blue Mountain, Ont., Mont Tremblant, Que., Stratton, Vt., and Snowshoe Mountain, W.V.) is priced as following:

The Intrawest Passport’s introductory fall price is being offered on a sliding scale:

• One primary adult Passport initially offered at $589

• Five additional adults can be added at $449 each

• Five passes for 13- to 20-year-olds can be added at $249 each

• Five passes for children 12 and under are free

• Total of 16 Passports available under one “Family Pass”

The definition of family is loose and only requires one adult pass to be purchased. The prices above will be in effect until October 20 and the pass will not be available after November 15.

The Powder Alliance areas all offer three free days to passholders from member resorts, a total of 36 free days in all. Members include Mountain High, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and China Bowl, Calif., Crested Butte, Colo, Snowbasin Resort, Utah, Schweitzer, Idaho, Stevens Pass, Wash., Bridger Bowl, Mont., Timberline and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, Ore., Arizona Snowbowl, Ariz., Angel Fire, N.M., and Silver Star, B.C. Mountain High's passes run from $249 for juniors to $349 for adults, with kids six and under free with the purchase of an adult or young-adult pass.
