Tamarack Resort Gets New Management

  • Push to The Latest: No

Replay Resorts is a destination development company operating in the U.S., Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean whose leadership team includes former senior executives of Intrawest. The company was hired last year to provide oversight of the resort’s assets.

TMA, the homeowners’ association, had stepped in to manage day-to-day operations of the ski area in 2010, after the original developer went bankrupt. It has operated the resort since then. The resort exited bankruptcy proceedings earlier this year.

“Our relationship with Replay Resorts has been an important part of the Tamarack’s resurgence, it’s a logical next step to move from the homeowners’ association to professional ski resort management,” said David Papiez, project manager for New TR Acquisitions.

Papiez said there has also been an upturn in season pass sales for the 2015-16 season and that the resort has seen “significantly higher demand” for its available residential vacation real estate property.

“There’s a lot of excitement about the revival of Tamarack. The ski-in, ski-out residential properties we offer here are affordable, and that’s a rare gem in the ski resort world,” said Mariana Ishida of Replay Resorts.
