SAM Magazine—Boise, Idaho, Oct. 27, 2015—The board of directors at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area has chosen Brad Wilson to be the resort’s new general manager. Wilson has worked in a variety of management, marketing, sales and master planning roles over the past 30-plus yeas in the ski resort and hospitality industries. He begins his new job on Nov. 9.

Wilson’s previous work experience includes GM at Lake Tahoe’s Diamond Peak Ski Resort and director of marketing at Alpine Meadows. Wilson has held positions at Mountain High Resort, Sugarbush, Brian Head, and Bear Mountain as well. He also served as president and COO of Catalina Island Resort Services.

“I am honored to be chosen to follow in the footsteps of several distinguished leaders at Bogus Basin,” said Wilson. “This is a great place and a great area. Bogus Basin has a rich history and some unique opportunities for growth and improvement. There is a lot of very positive energy building throughout the Valley for Bogus Basin.”

Boise mayor Dave Bieter also welcomed Wilson. “I’m pleased that our hometown recreation area will be led into the future by someone of Brad’s caliber and breadth of experience. I look forward to hearing his thoughts on expanding Bogus’ scope and role in our community’s recreation opportunities.”
