Wildcat has received two feet of new snow in the past week. The resort has 43 of 47 trails open, plus additional tree skiing areas that became available for the first time this season. The mountain currently features mid-winter conditions. Okemo is also benefiting from winter's late surge, with a solid base as a result of plentiful March and April snowfall. And conditions should remain wintry throughout northern New England, as another Nor'easter is poised to drop more snow Sunday and Monday.
While these storms may be too little, too late for some, there's no doubt that skiers with patience are enjoying some of the best conditions of the season.
