Due to all the snow covering the slopes, Willamette is unable to offer its usual summer fare of mountain biking, hiking, and downhill disc golf. "This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity for our resort," owner Tim Wiper said. "In my 26 years of operating the resort, I know there has never been snow like this. I hope to see tons of people up here this weekend skiing and riding the slopes of Peak 2 and enjoying the comfort of our Oregon Skyway gondolas." \
