SAM Magazine-Park City, Aug. 15, 2008-Rossignol is recalling approximately 3,500 pairs of the company's HC Snowboard bindings due to the potential for failure of the t-nuts that attach the straps to the binding. According to the company, the t-nuts can detach, creating a fall hazard for users.

The recall involves 2007 model year Rossignol snowboard bindings, including the HC 750, HC 1000, HC 2000, HC 3000, HC Mini, HC Amber, HC Diva, HC Harmony, HC Sonar, HC Zena and Jones Brown. No injuries have been reported due to the defect in the bindings, which were manufactured in China and sold from August 2007 through May 2008 for between $100 and $150.
