Prinoth to Open Midwest Regional Distribution Center

  • Push to The Latest: No
SAM Magazine-Granby, Québec, Jan. 22, 2010-Prinoth is taking over direct distribution of its Alpine products in the Midwest, assuming responsibility that was previously handled by Track Inc. Prinoth will open its own facilities to manage Midwest sales, service and parts distribution for all Alpine groomers, and incorporate this new site into its existing network of regional distribution centers.

Christian Martin, vice-president of sales and marketing, said, "This is a very important step for Prinoth to expand its existing network. We are going factory direct in the Midwest United States. This will complement the existing Regional Distribution Centers (RDC) we already have across North America."

The transfer from Track Inc. to Prinoth will be completed in three phases. Effective today, responsibility for service will be temporarily managed by Prinoth's Gilmanton, N.H., facility. On March 31, sales and parts distribution responsibility will temporarily transfer to Gilmanton also. The last phase will be the opening a new Midwest facility in spring 2010; all sales, service and parts activities will then be handled by the new location.
