Vail Resorts Expands Season's Pass Options

SAM Magazine-Broomfield, Colo., Mar. 10, 2010-Vail Resorts (VR) is continuing its popular season's pass programs and adding a new Epic 7-Pack as well as an unrestricted pass to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

The Epic 7-Pack ($449) is a seven-day unrestricted ticket valid at Vail Resorts' five mountain resorts and Arapahoe Basin, about a 35 percent discount from the single-day lift ticket price. The new pass for Keystone and Arapahoe Basin is $359 for adults, $299 for teens, and $199 for children. Continuing pass offerings include the Epic Pass ($599 adult, $299 children), valid at the five VR areas and A-Basin; the Summit Pass, good at Keystone, Breckenridge, and A-Basin ($409 adults, $319 teens, $209 children).

Prices on the above pass products are guaranteed through May 31 and are available for purchase at www.epicpass.com and VR's Colorado resorts starting Mar 15, and at Heavenly on Apr. 1. Purchasers can lock in these prices with $49 down, with the balance due in mid-September 2010.

Purchasers of the Epic Season Pass, Epic 7-Pack, Summit Pass and Keystone/Arapahoe Basin Pass purchasers will continue to receive exclusive offers and promotions for lodging, dining, ski rentals, equipment, ski school and special events. New this year, skiers and snowboarders who purchase their pass this spring will also receive special benefits for summer 2010, including access for sightseeing and gondola rides. Formerly, summer benefits were granted for the summer following our ski seasons.

The locals-oriented Colorado Pass, which offers unlimited skiing and riding at Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin and 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek, can be renewed online starting Mar. 15 for $449. Restriction dates apply at Vail and Beaver Creek. Beginning Apr. 9, the Colorado Pass will be on sale at limited locations in Colorado.
