Cohee, who has been an executive at Kirkwood for much of the past 17 years, plans to revert the area's name to China Peak, its original name, and to launch a limited-membership Peak Club that will include a variety of lifetime VIP privileges.
At a cost of $5,000 for individuals to $20,000 for companies, club members will receive discounts on food, lodging and ski lessons as well as preferred parking, signature jackets, season passes and a variety of leisure events and get-togethers.
Cohee began his management career at Sierra Summit under current owner Dick Kun. He also served as a vice president at Heavenly and managed operations at Goldmine, now known as Bear Mountain and operated by Snow Summit.
