Eldora Offers Free Skiing to Other Areas' Ticket Holders

  • Push to The Latest: No
SAM Magazine-Nederland, Colo., Feb. 21, 2011-Beginning today, Eldora Mountain Resort is offering a free day of skiing or riding to anyone who has a lift ticket or a season pass from any other ski area.

The offer is designed to introduce Eldora to Colorado skiers and riders. "We've come to realize just how many skiers and snowboarders in Colorado have not experienced Eldora or have not been here for quite a few years. It's time they try Eldora. There is no better way to do that than invite people to come here for free," says Jim Spenst, general manager for Eldora.

To receive a free lift ticket, skiers and riders present a lift ticket or seasons pass from any other ski area. The free lift ticket is a one-time offer, but visitors who take it may upgrade to a full Eldora season pass good for the remainder of the 2010-11 season for only $99.

The free skiing offer is not available on Saturdays, to avoid overcrowding at the area. The promotion will run for only a limited time; Eldora has not determined how long it will remain in effect.
