Aspen Ski Co. and Alterra Acquire Aspenware

SAM Magazine—Denver, Colo., May 12, 2022—Aspen Skiing Company (Ski Co.) and Alterra Mountain Company have acquired e-commerce provider Aspenware through a joint venture.aspenware Aspenware will remain a standalone business with ongoing operations to serve its clients and the industry, while maintaining its current staff and leadership. The acquisition will provide Aspenware with enhanced access to capital investment to further accelerate development of its guest experience technology.

Aspenware currently provides solutions and products to more than 50 ski resorts globally. Its customers include Boyne Resorts, Powdr Corporation, Alterra, Ski Co., and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, among others.
