SAM Magazine—Montville, N.J., July 9, 2024—Snow Partners has hired Dave Amirault as chief innovation officer for all its related businesses. He started July 1. In this newly created role, Amirault will lead Snow Partners’ innovation strategy for Mountain Creek Resort and Big Snow American Dream, N.J., SnowCloud resort management software, and Snow Operating. 

“Dave’s innovative mindset and vast experience in marketing and technology will be instrumental to the growth of our companies as we continue to transform our business,” said Snow Partners CEO Joe Hession. “We’re confident that Dave’s leadership will drive significant advancements in what we provide our partners and guests, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry.”

Amirault returns to the ski industry after moving to the technology sector in 2020, where he held key marketing leadership roles at tech companies GoDaddy and Pagely. Prior to that, he was marketing director at Snowbird, Utah, and Sierra-at-Tahoe, Calif., and was senior interactive marketing manager at Aspen Snowmass, Colo. 

He began his industry career as marketing coordinator at Sunday River, Maine, before working as online editor of Freeskier Magazine. In 2008, while working at Freeskier, Amirault was recognized with a SAMMY Leadership Award.
