The former Deer Mountain ski area shut down two years ago while going through bankruptcy proceedings. The current owners, the Milan Investment Club, made repairs and upgraded the water system for the 440-acre property, according to the Rapid City (S.D.) Journal. The water system serves the resort and the roughly 150 homes nearby.

The winter resort itself has about 900 vertical feet on a 6,850-foot summit, among the tallest in the Black Hills. The area's 40 trails are served by two chairlifts and a platter lift. There's also the Zero Gravity tubing park. The property is listed for $3.25 million.
