Cross-country access will also be included on the regular Indy Pass ($279 adult, $119 youth) in addition to the two days at each of the 82 alpine partner ski areas. Prices for both passes go up after May 17.

Indy Pass worked to develop the new product in partnership with the Cross Country Ski Areas Association (CCSAA) and will donate 10 percent of pass sales to the non-profit group. “The partnership with Indy Pass and Cross Country Ski Areas Association is an exciting and logical next step as we see explosive cross-country skiing growth,” said CCSAA executive director Reese Brown. “As people begin to travel again and the number of alpine skiers visiting cross country centers increases, the Indy XC Pass offers great value.”

The seven founding resort partners include High Point Cross Country Ski Center, N.J., Jackson XC and Waterville Valley Resort, N.H., Maplelag Resort, Minn., White Grass Touring Center, W.Va., Woodstock Nordic Center, Vt., and returning partner Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, B.C.

Indy XC Pass partnerships are expected to grow substantially, with more than 30 cross-country centers expected to join by the 2022-23 season.
