Last summer, Killington invested $3.5 million on summer activities, including a mountain coaster and high ropes course.

“With momentum from last summer’s growth we are adding more options for thrill seekers, plus activities specifically designed to keep young kids engaged all day,” said president and GM Mike Solimano. “To sustainably grow our summer business every year, we are bringing more and new visitors to the area and giving them reasons to extend their vacation stays during the summer and fall, which benefits the entire Killington region.”

The new downhill mountain biking trails being added this summer are part of phase three of the five-year Killington Bike Park build-out designed by Gravity Logic. This phase constitutes a $375,000 investment, with six new trails, a pump track, skills park, kids strider bike park, and designated uphill mountain bike route.

Many of Killington’s existing summer attractions are scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend, including the Snowshed Adventure Center, Killington Golf Club, and Killington Bike Park.
