Mica Heliskiing Appoints Dave Morrison as New CEO

“Dave Morrison is a proven leader with a remarkable track record in managing and growing luxury ski resorts and backcountry operations,” said Mica Heliskiing owner Patrick Callahan. “Dave’s knowledge, leadership skills and industry experience make him the perfect fit to contribute to Mica’s continued success.”

Before joining Mica, Morrison served as CEO of luxury cat-skiing destination Island Lake Lodge near Fernie, British Columbia. He has more than 16 years of alpine ski area leadership under his belt, serving as general manager of Pass Powderkeg in Alberta for 10 years before moving on to lead Ontario’s Mansfield Ski Club as its general manager until 2020 when he started at Island Lake. He also serves on the Canada West Ski Areas Association board of directors and is the vice president of the HeliCat Canada Association board.
