SAM Magazine—Aspen Snowmass, Colo., Sept. 20, 2022—The Mountain Collective Pass has added Sugar Bowl, Calif., to its now 25-destination roster. Sugar BowlThe Tahoe resort joins Sun Valley, Snowbasin, Marmot Basin, and Le Massif de Charlevoix as new partners for upcoming season.

Sugar Bowl, with the slogan “More Snow, Less Crowds,” is known locally for short lift lines, uncrowded slopes, and high annual snowfall. The resort, perched atop Donner Summit, has been family-owned and independent since 1939.

“Sugar Bowl is truly a gem in the Tahoe area and will provide a great trip for California skiers and riders in addition to world-class destinations throughout the Western U.S. and Canadian Rockies,” said Mountain Collective CEO Todd Burnette. “Now with twenty-five bucket list global resorts, the Mountain Collective Pass continues to be a great option for discerning skiers and riders around the world.” 

The 2022-23 Mountain Collective Pass currently retails for $579 USD for adults, with pass prices set to increase Sept. 27. The pass includes two days of skiing or riding with no blackout dates at each of the 25 partners (50 total days), a 50 percent discount on all additional days as well as lodging discount offers.
