SAM Magazine—Carrabassett Valley, Maine, March 8, 2022—Boyne Resorts has unveiled pricing for the 2022-23 New England Pass products, which provide access to Sunday River and Sugarloaf, Maine, and Loon Mountain, N.H., and also introduced the new N.E. Day ticket pack products, available for two to five days of access to the three resorts. New England PassThree days of access to the recently acquired Shawnee Peak, Maine, are included in the two top-tier pass options, but Shawnee Peak will maintain its own season pass product. 

The NE passes are now on sale, with early rates available through April 30. Rates have increased from the 2021-22 NE pass spring pricing, as follows:

  • Platinum: $1,659 ($1,559 renewal rate), up from $1,499
  • Gold: $1,299 ($1,239 renewal rate), up from $1,199
  • Silver: $849 ($799 renewal rate), up from $779
  • Bronze: $649 ($599 renewal), up from $569

Apart from the addition of Shawnee access to the Platinum and Gold products, the pass benefits remain similar to the offerings of last season’s suite. 

New pass purchasers will be able to use their 2022-23 passes for spring skiing this season starting March 21, and any season pass products purchased online through April 30 are eligible for a six-installment payment plan. Boyne has also continued its rollover program, allowing passholders to defer unused passes to the 2023-24 season until Dec. 10, 2022. 

The new N.E. Day ticket pack is valid any day at all three resorts (Sunday River, Sugarloaf, and Loon). The new N.E. Day Restricted packs allow access to Sunday River and Sugarloaf seven days a week, except blackout dates ,and access to Loon Monday through Friday, except blackout dates. Both are available in 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-day increments. Pricing ranges from $139 for a 2-day restricted bundle to $399 for a 5-day unrestricted bundle. 

Youth (6-18) and Senior (65 and older) versions of the NE Pass are also available for purchase in select pass tiers.
