Greg Sweetser will be inducted into the Maine Ski Hall of Fame in October. Sweetser started his career at Saddleback Mountain, Maine, where he was the marketing director before becoming executive director of the Ski Maine Association in 1996; a position he still holds. He is a founding member of the Ski Museum of Maine and WinterKids.

Bruce McCloy will retire from Mount Sunapee Resort, N.H., this summer after 45 years in the ski industry. For the past 11 years, Bruce has been the director of sales and marketing at Sunapee. McCloy started at Killington, Vt., as a vacation coordinator in 1972 before becoming VP and marketing manager at Mount Snow from 1978-1994. During his career he was also GM at Waterville Valley, N.H. and GM at Sugarbush, Vt.

Marvin Collins, 71, of York, Maine, died on Jan. 27, 2016. Collins started his ski industry career as a consultant for American Skiing Company and then in 1998 became VP of Operations at Sunday River, Maine for 11 years. He then joined Prinoth as an operational specialist and co-developed the Prinoth Snowhow program before leaving in 2013. Collins volunteered his time to serve on the board of directors of Maine Handicapped Skiing as well as a past president of the Sugarloaf Ski Club.
