Sunlight skiers and riders can add voluntary $5 contributions to their online season pass or lift ticket purchases to contribute to the White River National Forest Restoration Fund, which was recently established by the National Forest Foundation. NFF is the Forest Service's Congressionally designated fundraising partner.

Sunlight will submit collected funds directly to the NFF, which will provide a $0.50 match for each $1 in gross private contributions from skiers and riders. Sunlight staff will participate in the project selection process with the NFF, along with other businesses contributing to the fund and representatives of the U.S. Forest Service.

“The NFF is thrilled to partner with Sunlight Mountain Resort," said Emily Olsen, NFF Rocky Mountain region director. "We are grateful to Sunlight and their guests for taking action to care for this special place.”

In addition, this season Sunlight will offer five free days of skiing and riding to fire fighters and fire responders. Fire professionals have 16 dates to choose from throughout the 2020-21 season.
