The additions amount to an overall increase in air service to the Telluride region of approximately 12 percent from last year, and nearly 40 percent over the past three years.

American Airlines will operate twice-daily peak season flights from Dallas/Ft. Worth, including mainline jets. Flights from Phoenix will run daily through the season, rather than last season’s two to five days a week. Service will also continue from Chicago and Los Angeles.

From Denver, United operates three to six Montrose flights daily. United also flies larger jets from Houston on Saturdays, and adding a flight to make three-per-week from San Francisco. Daily flights continue from Chicago, with 1-3 flights weekly from New York (both LaGuardia and Newark) and Los Angeles.
