BOYNE AND CROSSHARBOR TEAM UP
Boyne Resorts, which owns Big Sky, Mont., and CrossHarbor Capital Partners, which owns The Yellowstone Club, have teamed up to purchase The Club at Spanish Peaks and the assets of Moonlight Basin, effectively placing Lone Peak under its management. The groups plan on linking Big Sky and Moonlight, creating a mega resort that will boast more than 5,700 skiable acres, 4,350 vertical feet and 23 chairlifts.

Québec Ski Areas Association CEO, Claude Péloquin, is stepping down to become the new CFO at Ski Bromont.

Sunday River, Me., announced the promotion of Kate Crooker to events and competitions manager.

At Cranmore, N.H., Paul Durfee was appointed sales manager.

At Okemo, Vt., Dave Kulis is the new VP of marketing and Sean Meszkat is the new director of retail. In the culinary department there were several promotions: Ellen Demers to VP of culinary services; Scot Emerson to executive chef; and Rick Bellany is the new executive sous chef. . .At Mount Snow, Mike Chase fills the newly-created role of director of marketing technology.

At Jiminy Peak, Mass., CFO Jack Filiault announced his retirement. Ray Boudreau was promoted to director of accounting and finance. Sarah Sweet was appointed to executive assistant and associate manager. Adam Filson, the general counsel for The Fairbank Group, takes on oversight of the real estate department and David Cammer will expand his responsibilities for vacation-ownership ops, management and homeowner relations.

At Mohawk Mountain, Conn., David Yeagle is the new director of the Snow Sports Discovery Center.

At Jackson Hole, Wyo., CMO Chip Carey announced his retirement. Taking over marketing is Adam Sutner.

Schweitzer Resort, Ida., promoted Sean Mirus to marketing director and Sean Briggs to marketing manager.

At Northstar, Loryn Kasten was promoted to senior communications manager.

InTouch Technology Group has joined forces with New Zealand tourism group Trojan Holdings. Alex Morcom is group CEO and Casey Parliament is the GM of North America. InTouch founders Klaas Sybranda and Chris Heberle will remain with the company.

Siriusware, Inc., made Outside Magazine’s annual “Best Places to Work” list, ranking 64 out of 100.

The French-based MND Group continues to grow with several acquisitions. First, they acquired Snownet, the parent company for Sufag and Areco. All employees were absorbed into the group. MND’s subsidiary TAS, a leader in preventive avalanche-release systems, has taken over the assets of HC Systec. Another subsidiary of MND’s, MBS-ADIC, took over Secomate, which designs, manufactures and distributes a wide range of products for ski resorts. Lastly, MND and Sergio Lima (founder of Snowstar), commercial and industrial partners since last summer, announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the German ski lift manufacturer LST Loipolder.
