After two years of research, the ski area has finally submitted a multi-year, multi-phase Master Development Plan to the US Forest Service/ Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The plan could change the sleepy ski area into a major Vegas attraction. While the resort currently only boasts three lifts serving approximately 1,000 vertical feet of skiing, the master plan envisions substantial improvements, which will quadruple the size of the existing ski area, including 11 total lifts serving 51 trails. The resort also plans to enhance snowmaking and add multiple terrain parks. \
