  • Push to The Latest: No
SAM Magazine-Winter Park, Colo., April 14, 2008-With many ski resorts wrapping up their seasons, two of Clorado's biggest players are looking to lock in passholders for next year with a variety of discounted season pass offers.

Following on the heels of Vail Resorts' various offers, Intrawest is courting skiers with a $399 Rocky Mountain Super Pass for Copper and Winter Park. An unlimited version of The Super Pass clocks in at $439 and includes six unrestricted days of skiing at Steamboat. In addition, at Copper and Winter Park, passholders can purchase up to four discounted tickets each day for friends and family. Similar to the VR passes, buyers are charged $49 now, the rest in mid-August.

Vail resorts fired the first salvo in this years' price war with the new Epic Pass. At $579, it provides unlimited access to Colorado resorts Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. California's Heavenly is also included in the deal.
