SAM Magazine—New York City, Oct. 24, 2024—Indy Pass has added access to 30 more alpine, cross-country, and indoor ski areas for the 2024-25 season, Indy Passincluding Loveland Ski Area, Colo., and 12 resorts in Innsbruck, Austria. The additions were revealed at a media event in New York City Wednesday night.

With the additions, Indy Pass will release a limited quantity of passes for sale today while supplies last. This will be the final sale of the 2024-25 season.

"Indy Pass now has over 230 resorts on three continents, and you can expect our remarkable growth to continue," said Indy Pass director Erik Mogensen. "Our mission and values command our support of independent ski areas and will continue to drive every decision we make, including not overselling the pass."

2Indy Pass founder Doug Fish (L) and director Erik Mogensen address the crowd at the NYC media event.Mogensen spoke during the media event about the new additions and, among other things, the benefits of Indy Pass partnership for smaller areas when a neighboring larger partner is added. He said, for example, that when Jay Peak, Vt., joined, visits to Bolton Valley went up. He predicted with Loveland on the pass that visits to nearby Echo Mountain and Granby Ranch would triple.

Loveland vice president and COO Rob Goodell said Indy Pass “aligns perfectly with Loveland's history as one of Colorado's longest continuously independently owned and operated ski resorts. We look forward to welcoming visitors from across the country to experience what makes our mountain so special.”

The mix of new partners includes alpine and cross-country ski areas in Spain, Japan, Canada, Czech Republic, and the United States. Two indoor ski facilities in England were also added.
