SAM Magazine—Danbury, N.H., March 21, 2025—Ragged Mountain Resort has been listed for sale, along with more than 2,000 acres of surrounding land. The ski area is currently managed by Pacific Group Resorts, Inc. (PGRI), on behalf of a third-party owner that acquired it in 2007. Ragged Mountain

The listing includes both the ski resort operations and separately owned base-area land zoned for residential development. Buyers can pursue either piece individually or together.

Ragged, which is celebrating 60 years of operation this season, is located approximately 98 miles from Boston and 58 miles from Manchester, N.H. The owners have invested significantly in infrastructure over the past 18 years, including lift upgrades, expanded snowmaking, lodge and parking improvements, and base-area lodging.

Since 2007, skier visits have tripled, according to the company. A master plan for the resort includes a potential terrain expansion to the east of the existing ski area onto Pinnacle Peak.

PGRI said the resort is now well positioned for the future and that the time is right for new ownership to continue its momentum. Commercial real estate firm CBRE is managing the sale process, which is expected to take several months.

Ragged Mountain is one of six ski areas currently owned or managed by PGRI. In February, the company acquired the controlling interest in Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Colorado.
