Vail Resorts Adds European Resorts to Epic Pass

  • Push to The Latest: No

Depending on the ski area, Epic Passholders have anywhere from three to six days at each, and different lengths must be taken to gain access to the lifts. At the French resorts, it’s as simple as presenting your Epic Pass and photo ID at the ticket window to redeem your lift access. In Italy, you have to email a week ahead and specify which ski area you’d like to access. In Switzerland, you have to book in-resort lodging in order to get your free days. The Austrian resorts also require lodging to capitalize on the free days, but you have to book your lodging directly with the property.

Those are perhaps minor hoops to jump through for additional value on a pass that already provides access to more resorts than most humans can visit in a winter. The price of the pass is not affected by these changes.

Now the only question is: what resorts will be added to the other multi-property passes in response to this latest Epic expansion? Which product will be the first to have 50 resorts on one pass? You laugh, but at this rate it’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when.
